I received a master's degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute. Coursework focused on the management of design where the effective identification and allocation of creative resources is used to create sustainable and strategic advantages for organizations. I worked on projects that examined design and management in a variety of contexts: off-shore wind farms as disruptive technologies; innovation and change at Gap; Wal-Mart's business strategy; the life cycle of Knoll's Life Chair. I focused my thesis work on researching the efficacy and value of design management in economically impoverished communities, conducting an 8 day on-site design audit of microenterprises in Peshawar, Pakistan.
